New manager at Dimplex
Dimplex is continuing the expansion of its renewables division with the appointment of Richard Stephens as product manager. A graduate in product design and innovation, Richard Stephens brings with him technical and applications engineering experience gained with a major manufacturer in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning market.
At Dimplex Renewables, he is responsible for its expanding ranges of solar thermal, solar PV and the new EC-Eau hot water cylinders. In the last year, the dedicated Dimplex renewables team has expanded to include dedicated sales managers, a renewables product management team and a team of technical sales support engineers to offer wide-ranging support to developers, architects, installers, social housing providers, M&E consultants, local authority specifiers, and building services engineers across the UK. In addition, a multi million pound investment in new R&D and manufacturing facilities for renewables is taking place in Northern Ireland. This is designed to support the significant growth Dimplex expects from the market over the next five years, and the new manufacturing and R&D facilities will focus on heat pumps and solar thermal water heating, as well as new technology areas such as solar PV.
