The NEW X16, extra height consumer unit is now available from Controlgear as part of its QFS domestic circuit protection range. Manufactured from self-extinguishing ABS, in a modern design with textured white finish and opaque drop down cover.
The X16 consumer units feature knockouts at the top, bottom, base and sides, together with a removable din rail and generous cabling space, even when single module RCBOs are installed.
A range of options are available to meet 17th Edition requirements, including a Main switch incomer and RCBOs, for individual circuit protection or the DUAL RCCB FLEXI layout and MCBs which allows the installer to configure the board on site as a High Integrity version with a maximum of two unprotected ways on the main switch for RCBOs.
The QFS range of consumer units from Controlgear feature earth and neutral terminal bars at the top and three or four hole fixing points. An accessory pack is supplied which includes pre-printed circuit identification labels, phase insulators and module blanks.
