LED upgrade
Havells-Sylvania has announced that the Lumiance Giotto 305 is now available in LED format.
The new model features the same classic design and ease of installation as its CFL counterpart. With the addition of integrated CREE LED technology, Lumiance Giotto 305 delivers increased efficiency, reduced maintenance and lower running costs.
The robust build-quality and reliable performance of the Lumiance Giotto 305 LED is ideally suited for lighting in stairwells, hallways, schools or community buildings. Maintenance free for up to 50,000 hours and with a power consumption of just 22 W at 500ma, the model delivers significant energy and maintenance cost savings. This combines with a maximum output of 1000 lumens (neutral white) to give a large spread of ambient light for a safe, secure environment for the end user. It is also dimmable, and the high-switching cycle ensures it will integrate with third party occupancy detection systems for maximum peace of mind.
The Giotto 305 LED is IK10 impact resistant and IP44 rated to ensure seamless operation in cold and humid environments. It is available in surface-mounted or recessed versions with a choice of colour temperatures; 3000K and 4500K (warm white and neutral white respectively). A 'loop in loop out' connection method allows installation to be undertaken without tools to reduce time on-site. Furthermore, for aesthetic flexibility, there are three trim finishes available; white, matt silver or brushed aluminium.
