The 3100 series gets a new strong member
PR Electronics has released the isolated universal converter 3114, which has universal input for RTD, TC, Ohm, potentiometer, mA and V.
It has the same wide range of approvals as the other devices in the 3100 series, including FM Div. 2, ATEX Zone and IECEx Zone 2. The 3114 provides output for Current and Voltage.
With RTD or TC sensor, electronic temperature measurement linearisation is possible.
Conversion of linear resistance variation to a standard analogue current / voltage signal, i.e. from solenoids and butterfly valves or linear movements with attached potentiometer.
When 3114 is used in combination with the 4501 display / programming front and ConfigMate 4590, all operational parameters can be modified to suit any application.
As the 3114 is designed with electronic hardware switches, it is not necessary to open the device for setting of DIPswitches.
