Brand-Rex revamps training

The supplier of copper and fibre optic based network infrastructure solutions has announced that those on its Business Partner Programme will be able to benefit from revamped training courses from September 2012.

Brand-Rex to offer free training

The Brand-Rex suite of training courses is currently being redesigned and updated and will comprise a perfect balance of theoretical and practical information. The one and two day sessions address all aspects of copper and fibre based cabling technology, outlining best practice and explaining current international and European standards.

Delegates are provided with invaluable insight regarding the company’s range of solutions and how they can be configured to provide end users with the most appropriate network cabling infrastructures for their needs.

To promote the new training programme, Brand-Rex will offer free training courses until March 2013. This decision exemplifies the company’s commitment to supporting its partners through tough economic times. By imparting guidance about the specification and installation of its products and systems, Brand-Rex partners are equipped with the skills required to offer the best possible solutions, while ensuring that they maximise all available business opportunities.

As well as being held at Brand-Rex’s headquarters in Glenrothes, courses will also take place in London and at a new venue in Birmingham. Each course is available to a maximum of 30 partners, giving those attending the chance to network with other like-minded installation companies and end users, providing a more effective and productive training experience for all.

Even though they are now free to attend, the updated courses are just as rigorous as they have always been, with BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs) still available. All other terms and conditions of the Business Partner Programme remain the same, meaning that all partners need to attend up-to-date training every two years in order to issue the company’s 25-year system warranty.

This latest announcement is part of an on going evaluation of the Brand-Rex Business Partner Programme. Launched last year, the scheme has four distinct levels; Premier Partner, Select Partner, Approved Partner and Distribution Partner. As well as offering training and education, a wide range of other incentives are available such as project support, technical assistance, dedicated account management and a vast array of marketing support to help partners maximise their revenue generating activities. As the foremost initiative of its kind, Brand-Rex is always pleased to hear from companies that would like to benefit from joining it.

“We recognise the crucial role our loyal partners play in our mission to achieve unsurpassed levels of customer service,” commented Audrey O’Brien, Marketing Communications Manager at Brand-Rex. “We also realise that in these austere economic conditions we must do everything we can to help maximise their revenue generating activities. Making our high quality training courses free of charge provides an opportunity for our partners to obtain the highest quality knowledge and skills available anywhere in the industry, without having to shoulder any financial burden.”
