Hefty load bearing in floor box gives Installers great flexibility.
Designed with earth fixing points at each end to give installers improved flexibility in positioning sockets, the new Marshall Tufflex Underfloor to Desk range is supplied with dividers to allow its use as a three or four compartment box.
Quicker and easier to install, the new raised floor box has as standard a 3mm support plate capable of handling medium load traffic. For heavy load installations, a steel sub-frame can be inserted to support the lid without restricting space for wiring accessories.
The sub frame allows for fine adjustments to deal with uneven flooring and will take a 1.25 tonne loading. The 83mm deep unit has two easy fit cable retainers, a cut out lid for carpeting up to 6mm deep,while extra deep lids are also available. Created with the aim of providing installers with one product to meet the widest range of needs and the most flexible installation, the floor box comes with pre-punched fixings, a variety of box depths, a barrel lock option for extra security, an RCD option and can be pre-wired with MT32 connectors.
Designed and manufactured to the latest standards, the new unit replaces Marshall Tufflex floor boxes URF32 and URF 42.
