Good vibrations for new 12kg avt hammer

Britain’s number 1 professional power tool manufacturer, has introduced the latest version of the very popular 12kg rotary hammer drill that offers a host of benefits including more impact power and even lower vibration than the previous model which has set the benchmark for rental and operator success.
·         More joules, more impacts per minute, more rpm, more watts
·         Less weight and substantially lower vibration

The new Makita HR5212C AVT rotary demolition hammer weighs in at just 11.9kg and features the proven and patented Makita Anti Vibration Technology of dynamic vibration absorber.  This uses the pneumatic air pressure of the impact piston to move a counterweight in the body of the machine to dampen out the vibrations. The body and grip handle are effectively separated from the motor and drive assembly to further reduce vibration transmission to the operator. With a soft start and soft no load speed electrical control system, vibrations are ultra - low at 9.0m/s² in rotary drilling mode enabling double the recommended operating time.
Motor power is increased to 1,510watts – the HR5212C is available in 110v and 240v mode – with the impacts per minute of the SDS Max shank rising to 2,250 and generating 19.1 joules of impact energy. This machine will run up to 310rpm and can be used in rotary drilling mode combined with hammer action, or in hammer mode only, for chiselling. In this mode a switch provides for continuous chiselling action by push button control with lock-on mechanism or if intermittent chiselling is required this can be selected and controlled by the trigger on/off switch. A constant speed dial control is conveniently positioned at the back grip handle.
The easy-to-use SDS Max sliding chuck will carry a bit of up to 52mm in concrete and this powerful machine will drive a 160mm core bit. The latest Makita dust extraction system is designed to be compatible with this popular demolition hammer. LED service and power warning lights complete the high specification of this Makita workhorse and is manufactured at Telford, Shropshire.
