Accessories kit for use with PAT testers
A complete accessories kit has been launched, by Megger, to complement its innovative PAT100 range of easy to use handheld PAT testers, which are an ideal choice for carrying out low to medium volume testing.
The kit contains a variety of useful accessories for use with the testers: a convenient pocket size guide for PAT testing, a report book for recording test results, 1000 pass labels and 100 fail labels and a handy IEC C6 to C13 adapter for testing laptop power cables. The price of the kit is substantially lower than purchasing the items individually, offering users outstanding value for money.
Megger’s new PAT100 series testers are currently available in three models – the PAT120 for everyday testing, the PAT150 which offers the user greater control, and the PAT150R which adds a rechargeable battery. The testers are complemented by the PAT Toolbox app that is available for Apple and Android devices. The app provides a concise guide to PAT testing, including cable calculations for extension leads.
Like all Megger products, instruments in the new PAT100 series have been designed from the outset with safety in mind, and they comply fully with all relevant UK and European requirements for electrical safety testing. The intuitive design of the PAT100 testers means they are easy to use from the outset, without the need for special training. In addition, their tough construction – they feature hardened, scratchproof glass to protect the display and rubber armouring for the cases - makes them ideal for use in demanding environments.
