Portable Lighting is ‘Job-site tough’
DeWALT® has extended its professional cordless lighting range with the introduction of two portable 18V LED Lights. The new models, the DCL060 LED Area Light and DCL043 LED Spotlight, are amongst the brightest in their category and have been designed for tradesmen operating in low light conditions,confined working spaces, or in applications where visibility is poor, and will withstand constant usage in demanding environments.
The integration of LED technology brings the benefits of exceptional clarity and increased durability, a more even beam pattern, as well as a longer period of operation and bulb life relative to halogen.
Suitable for area and task lighting, and weighing just 1.5kg, the DCL060 LED Area Light provides an output of 1,500 lumens. The powerful LED beam emits a colour temperature similar to that of natural daylight, making it ideal for electricians who need to recognise the true colour of cables and signage, or for the identification of damp areas on surfaces by contractors such as painters and plasterers. To achieve the optimum angle and area of illumination, the lamp head may be rotated by the user by up to 105 degrees, whilst any heat is efficiently dissipated by the integrated heat sink. When not in use and folded away, the lens is fully protected within the body of the tool. Other useful product attributes include a carrying handle for a secure and comfortable grip when moving around the jobsite, two convenient eyelets on the back for hanging the lamp, and rubber feet that provide a high level of stability and balance on location.
The new DCL043 LED Spotlight provides the operator with a focused and high intensity beam with a maximum output of 1,000 lumens, and a distance rating of up to 400m. Perfect for handheld inspection lighting, site maintenance, security or use in large open spaces, this spotlight offers maximum versatility.
The head of the light may be pivoted in five different positions and is protected from demanding environments by a tough rubber overmould. In addition, the Spotlight is IP54 rated for water and dust protection, and offers exceptionally robust construction for constant daily usage in line with DeWALT’s philosophy of ‘job-site tough’.
The DCL060 Area Light and DCL043 LED Spotlight both come with a 3 year limited warranty upon registration.
