Energy Saving Device for the Home in Shell Springboard National Finals (23 March 2011)
Chester-based business VPhase plc has been named runner-up in the national Shell Springboard programme, after winning the regional heats and being awarded £30,000 for its pioneering eco device for the home, which cuts electricity bills by around 10%, lowers energy consumption and reduces carbon emissions.

VPhase featured on BBC’s DIY: SOS programme (31 August 2010)

The programme saw the team transform an ex-council house in South Wales, Brynmawr into an eco-friendly family home by installing energy efficient technologies such as rainwater harvesting, solar panels and VPhase voltage optimisation.

Housing Association trial success for VPhase (22 July 2010)
Following a three month social housing trial with Great Places Housing Group, VPhase has released independently analysed results that demonstrate energy savings of between 8.5% and 9.0% and estimated yearly CO2 savings of up to 180kg per property. This equates to an average 3.6% of a households’ annual CO2 emissions and importantly, a significant proportion of many housing association’s overall CO2 reduction targets.

VPhase units trialled in Southern Electric Customer Homes (09 December 2009)
Southern Electric has commenced UK trials of voltage optimisation into households.
