Flexicon Fittings
Flexible conduit manufacturer, Flexicon, has extended its range of non-metallic FPA nylon-moulded brass threaded fittings by incorporating cable glands. Particularly favoured by OEM design engineers working on very demanding applications, these strong brass threaded fittings with cable glands provide additional protection against cable strain.
To meet increased market demand for robust fittings, Flexicon has introduced nylon-moulded brass threaded fittings with cable glands, in straight or 90o and 45o elbow versions, to fit its nylon corrugated flexible conduit.
In addition, Flexicon’s FPA versions have a high ingress protection rating of IP66 (protection against dust and high-pressure water jets). The higher duty FPAX versions meet IP66, IP67 (protection against dust and water immersion up to one metre) and IP68 (protection against dust and long periods of water immersion at two bar pressure for two hours).
Available in a wide range of configurations, sizes and threads, the new cable gland fittings boast Flexicon’s innovative rapid-fit technology, which significantly reduces installation time.
