DeWalt is launching a wide range of new products in 2008, including a full new 28 Volt Nano Technology Lithium Ion battery system that works harder and lasts longer than the current 18 volt system. This will include the DC310KL circular saw with a 55mm depth of cut, the DC315KL heavy duty reciprocating saw which benefits from the patented 4 position blade clamp, the DC318KL heavy duty jigsaw, with keyless blade change system and patented anti vibration counter balance mechanism, the DC413KL cordless finishing grinder with metal gear case and 2 position anti vibration side handle, the DC910KL Heavy duty hammer drill / driver which is actually smaller and lighter than the current 18volt machine.
Another new system for DeWalt in 2008 will be the launch of its 18 Volt nano technology lithium Ion platform, offering all the power, performance and durability of 18 volt with a dramatic reduction in weight. The good news for existing 18 volt users is that the battery technology is backwards compatible, so there are now 2 battery options for one system. This gives access to over 30 tools in the range. The launch will be complimented with some brand new compact drill drivers. The DC722KL is a compact drill driver with a frameless DeWalt motor, offering more power for less weight, and the DC727KL compact hammer drill / driver, offering a lightweight alternative for users needing to drill into masonry.
