GET Chocbox

GET, a company of Schneider Electric, has been named as the exclusive distributor of the new Chocbox & Chocbox V0 Connection Units.

Chocbox is a revolutionary connector cover, which offers a safe and simple solution to protect and insulate various electrical connections. This innovation offers electrical and data installers a unique multi-purpose product, which can act as a connector cover, junction box or even a conduit box.

Cables are simply inserted into a strip connector (not included) and the Chocbox allows the wires to be secured safely and easily. A final screw then secures the lid to protect the connected wires. The
Chocbox is tested to BS EN60598-1 standard, has a 30 amp current rating and a 4mm2 maximum cable capacity.

Also available in the range is the Chocbox V0, which in addition to the above, is UL V0 fire rated, low smoke and fume and halogen free.
