Wago Series 862 Terminal Blocks
Wago is introducing a new package for installer applications which combines its Series 862 terminal blocks
with robust design housing.
Series 862 terminals incorporate Wago’s screwless CageClamp®S and are designed to minimize connection costs in electrical circuits. An ideal replacement for old fashioned ‘chocblocks’, they are highly
flexible, easy to handle and are ideal for a wide range of applications including lighting and power alterations, ring circuit additions and temporary circuit changes.
CageClamp®S ensures a universal connection for flexible conductors or pushwire connection for solid conductors and substantially reduced wiring time. Features include 32A, 500V rating, pushbutton activation by screwdriver or finger operation and maximum conductor size cross section range of 0.5mm2 to 4mm2.
Four conductors can be connected to each pole. The new robust connector housing is made from Nylon 6.6
and meets BS5733. The design prevents accidental unfastening and when the connector is closed, protection degree is IP20. Conductors are secured using cable ties supplied and there is no need to secure the terminal, even to comply with BS7671.
