Hawke International PowerEx connectors

Connectors for higher power ranges have been introduced by Hawke International.

The new PowerEx series will compliment their existing ControlEx and InstrumEx connectors to complete the family of connectors to meet every need in the oil and gas industries.

Main applications for ControlEx and PowerEx will be in the hook-up, servicing, repair and replacement of modules and other key equipment in oil and gas exploration, production and processing.

PowerEx connectors are designed to meet the demands of high power applications, up to 780A, while ControlEx connectors are designed for medium power applications up to 660v/125A.

The InstrumEx connector is suitable for low power applications and is ATEX and IECEx compliant. This allows live connection and disconnection of circuits in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 applications.
