Aico Ei408 Switched Input Module

Aico Ltd has announced the introduction of its new Ei408 Switched Input Module for use with its unique RadioLINK wireless interconnect mains-powered smoke and heat alarm system.

The new Ei408 Switched Input Module has been designed to accept a switched input from a set of Volt-free hard-wired contacts, such as flow switch contacts on a sprinkler system. On receiving a Volt-free switched hard wired signal, it will immediately transmit a RadioLINK alarm signal to trigger all other RadioLINK devices in the system.

When the switched hard-wired signal ceases and returns to its normal standby position, the unit ceases sending out the alarm signal to the other RadioLINK devices. The new Ei408 features advanced transceiver and signal coding technology coupled with a unique House-Code feature to ensure reliable and robust RF signalling.This House-Code feature allows a system of RadioLINK devices to be quickly and easily coded together to prevent any interference from neighbouring systems.
