TESEQ announces the introduction of its latest handheld ESD simulator. The new NSG 434 is a compact and cost effective solution for air discharge testing up to 8KV and contact testing up to 6KV. Offering a saving of up to 30% over higher performance models the NSG 434 will provide testing to meet around 95% of all
commonly required standards.

Featuring ergonomic design and advanced functionality the pistol-shaped NSG 434 simulator is designed to sit comfortably in the operator’s hand, with the active operating conditions shown on the built-in LCD display. The LCD display gives the operator a clear, continuous indication of all the test parameters, the
operational status of the instrument and the current function of each of the five softkeys.

Discharge voltage is programmable across the range 200V to 8kV with a stabilised charging voltage. Pre-programmed test settings for IEC/EN 61000-4-2 may be menu selected and true air-discharge breakdown voltage is provided. The NSG 434 is battery powered, compact and lightweight, comfortable to use and simple to operate.
