Flexicon LTBRD Conduit System
Flexicon has developed a new liquid tight range of flexible conduit for extremely arduous industrial environments.
The LTPBRD system has a galvanised steel core with a thermoplastic rubber cover and a stainless steel overbraid outer layer. This conduit has very high abrasion resistance, tensile strength and mechanical strength.
It has an IP rating of up to IP68 (5 Bar) and can be used in applications with extremes of temperature – anything between -45oC to 135 oC. It also provides EMC screening and the fittings lock the braid between the inner and outer compression nuts.
In addition Flexicon has launched some new fittings for all of its liquid tight ranges of flexible conduit. There is a new multipart compression fitting with an elastomeric seal, which has an external thread that swivels about the main body even after tightening. Also new are a 45o compression fitting and a multipart compression coupler including seals for joining two conduits. The fittings are IP rated at IP66, IP67 and IP68 (5 Bar).
