Bosch Angle Grinder
A new range of large Bosch angle grinders to be launched later this year has increased power-to-weight
ratios and additional health and safety features.
The Bosch GWS 22-230 LVI Professional and the GWS 24-230 LVI Professional are 20% lighter than their predecessors, the weight reduction achieved through use of a smaller but no less powerful motor. Lower weight is very important for grinder users, reducing fatigue and therefore increasing productivity.
The grinders are equipped with excellent user protection features. Through Bosch’s “Kickback stop”, a
microprocessor shuts down the grinder in a fraction of second if a disk should get jammed. This is a world first for large angle grinders and protects the user from recoil. The multifunctional triple-control deadman safety switch also contributes to safe operation. It is combined with a smooth start function and restart protection, which prevents the machine from restarting automatically after a power disconnection.
These tools are ideal for grinding and cutting metal or concrete, and are designed for tradesmen in the engineering, construction and interior fitting industries.
