Nittan IP55 Fire Detector Mounting Base
Nittan (UK) Ltd., one of the UK's leading manufacturers of conventional and addressable fire detection products, has added a new IP55 rated detector mounting base and matching mounting box for the Evolution range of analogue addressable and conventional detectors.
This new base and mounting box is intended for use in harsh environments where water ingress is expected, which could affect the detector.
The box has entry points suitable for 2 x 20mm cable glands and the base a rubber sealing ring to seal against water ingress to the base.
Evolution is the latest advanced, premium fire system developed by Nittan. Evolution uses ASIC technology in the sensors and sophisticated detection algorithms, combining extremely reliable fire detection together with a very high degree of protection against unwanted false alarms. It's advanced, highly flexible protocol, is not only uniquely resistant to noise, but also allows for substantial amounts of information to be transmitted at high speed.
