PRODUCT OF THE WEEK: Roxtec Sealing Module
A Roxtec sealing module consists of two halves, and has removable layers and a center core. Thanks to the multidiameter technology, one single module can seal a cable of several different diameters simply by peeling layers from the module halves until a perfect fit is achieved.
Made from EPDM rubber Roxylon a module is flexible enough to shape itself around a cable. Yet, at the same time it is rigid enough to retain its basic resilience and integrity against physical and chemical exposure. The Roxtec sealing system and its Roxylon have an approved record from the majority of certifying authorities around the world for withstanding exposure to a number of hazards, and providing safety such as:
- fire resistance, halogen free, bromide free
- gas and water pressure resistance
- pull-out resistance
- stress load relaxation resilience
- UV resilience
- Blast load resistance
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Roxtec modules are used in frames and fitted around cables, as spare capacity or as compensation. The modules can accommodate a cable diameter range from 3.0 to 99.0 millimeters.
