Inconnect In-House Printing
Inconnect, the Lincoln based cable harness manufacturer, is now able to offer the additional service of in-house printing on cables. A customer request for low volume cable printing initiated this development by the company.
Increasingly customers have a need for either wire, heat shrink sleeves or PVC sleeving to be identified in some way and although there are cable printing machines available, they tend not to lend themselves to low volumes. Inconnect needed to find an in-house solution that would accommodate customers’ requirements and its engineers have now developed equipment, which by using thermal transfer methods, ensures a permanent and smear proof finish.
