A new range of circular 7/8" moulded connectors has been introduced by industrial engineering solutions company, Motion 29. Capable of carrying a current of 12 Amperes at 300 Volts, as well as low level signals for instrumentation, the Shield connector is available with 3, 4, 5, 6 and 14 poles and comes in both male and female versions.
7/8" connectors were first utilised in the 60's by the automotive industry for use on their production lines as they made the replacement of solenoid valves and limit switches much easier. Since then they have become a vital component for distributing power and data in industrial automation applications.
Motion29's new range is compatible with existing 7/8" connectors on the market and is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments. Rated waterproof to IP68 the 7/8" connector offers a competitively priced solution for many industrial applications.
