Solving the problem of condensation
Condensation is a constant problem in sealed luminaires or enclosures that have not been designed to give adequate ventalation. Returning to sites to replace components and repair these units can be very costly.
The WISKA VentGLAND solves this problem in a unique way. The gland has an in-built goretex membrane that allows the luminaire or enclosure to breath but at the same time maintains an IP69 seal ensuring no water enters it. This ensures equalisation of pressures, which reduces the condensation. It also enables an existing standard cable gland to be replaced and therefore not requiring an additional work to the luminaire or enclosure
