GlassGuard is on the ball
Staff at Thetford-based GlassGuard, a manufacturer of fragment retention lamps, recently took part in a five-a-side football tournament to help raise funds for a local charity.
The annual event was held at Carrow Road, home of Norwich City Football Club, and was organised by recruitment company Jark. The event saw 16 local businesses taking part to raise over £8,000 for Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind (NNAB).
GlassGuard’s team captain Chris Wright says: “We may not have won but this event is all about raising money for incredibly worthy causes. It was great fun for the GlassGuard team and in this case it really wasn’t about winning, but about taking part and raising as much money as possible.”
