Plug and play wiring system
Protec has further simplified the installation procedure of fire detection and alarm systems by introducing a ‘plug n play’ wiring system for its interactive digital addressable fire detection & alarm system.
The company’s semi-recessed, fast-fix sensor bases already make it possible for a sensor to be connected and commissioned prior to the installation of a false ceiling. This latest advance makes the wiring of loop devices simple too, only requiring them to be plugged in, using a pre-terminated cable. The cables are available in a range of standard finished lengths, complete with factory-fitted moulded plug, which is simply inserted into each device to create the panel’s cabling loop.
Factory manufactured, tested and certified, in a wide range of lengths, assemblies are supplied using 1.5mm2 or 2.5mm2 standard or enhanced grade LPCB certified cable.
