Cost effective connector hub solution

Following the success of its original push-in connector system, which was introduced in 2008, Click Scolmore has now developed this product into a whole range to offer a cost effective Hub system.

Providing installers with a quick and easy solution when adding lighting or appliances to an existing circuit, the Hub CT300C is designed to take 3 or 4 pin plug-in connectors and can be connected directly to another Hub or via the three options of link cables which have also been added to the range.

The expanded Click Flow range now comprises:

* CT101C - the original 3 pin plug connector, now featuring increased load handling with 20A rating and with additional loop terminal.

* CT102C - 3 pin plug connector with cord restraints fitted within the male connector

* CT202C - a 4-pin connector with auxiliary terminals which provides the opportunity for a second switched live or permanent feed for use typically with emergency lighting applications.

* Link Cables - separate cables, available in three different lengths - 2m, 3m and 5m - each supplied pre-wired to a 4 pin (CT202C) connector to provide quick and easy connections between hubs and fittings.

Marie Parry, marketing manager explains the reasons behind the development: “The development of this range has really come about as a result of demand from our customers. With the original 3-pin connector out in the market, we were getting a lot of enquiries about a 4-pin version. Once we started to work on that, the idea for ‘the Hub’ evolved. The benefits are numerous - the main one being the flexibility to arrange circuits fast and easily.  That means less time spent on the job and as we all know time is money.”
