Switches and sockets make Olympic stadium Part M compliant

More than 1,000 switches and sockets from Click Scolmore’s Part M range are being installed in the main Olympic Stadium in London.

Specified by Building Services Contractor, T Clarke, the products were selected to meet the requirements of Part M Building Regulations - designed to help those with a disability to access and use buildings and the facilities within them.

The Mode Part M switches and sockets are being used within both the public areas and athletes areas throughout the stadium, with anthracite grey products installed on white walls and white on the coloured walls. The majority of the 800 sockets being used will power computer and audio/visual equipment for the vast number of meetings and media rooms.
