powerBall 2010 to feature the cast of Jersey Boys
We have just be given details about the annual electrical industry event - powerBall - which is run by the Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA). This year, it will feature the cast of Jersey Boys.
This year the powerBall will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, on 12th November and will feature the cast of the hit West End musical Jersey Boys.
The principal cast from the show will be performing live at the event after their performance at the Prince Edward Theatre in London. Jersey Boys charts the career of the legendary New Jersey vocal group, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and has won several accolades, including an Olivier Award and a Tony Award for Best New Musical.
Supporting the award winning musical and adding to the ‘Friday Night Fever’ theme of this year’s powerBall will be a top Bee Gees tribute act, plus the Bogus Brothers and Ian Haskell’s Apache Disco, enabling guests to dance the night away.
Commenting on the announcement, Pat Sheldrake, head of fundraising operations for EEIBA, said: "powerBall is an important fundraiser in our annual programme of events and we are absolutely thrilled that the cast of Jersey Boys has agreed to entertain our guests on the night. Ticket sales are going extremely well and we would encourage new and existing supporters to book as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment."
As well as the musical entertainment, guests at powerBall 2010 will be able to enjoy the five-star dining experience, plus fun activities such as tombola, stand up Bingo and raffle in the Great Room of the Grosvenor House. Platinum, Gold and standard tables are available along with sponsorship packages for those wishing to further support the charity.
