Fundraisers at electrical charity EEIBA (Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association) are celebrating another successful annual powerBall with £246,850 being raised on the night, which provided a fun filled evening of entertainment for guests.

EEIBA assists mobility for Wendy (22 June 2011)
Wendy Murrell-Foster enjoyed a long and successful career in the electrical sector for 30 years before she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The effects of her illness meant she couldn’t take regular exercise, but now thanks to help provided by the Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA), she is able to swim on a daily basis.

New HQ for EEIBA (20 April 2011)
The Electrical & Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA) has relocated its headquarters to a new building following last year’s business review. The charity, along with its team of seven full time staff, has moved into a two storey, modern building in Wandsworth which is a managed, fully serviced premises.

EEIBA announces new general manager appointment and change programme (07 February 2011)
Following a Council meeting held in January, the EEIBA has announced that the charity has a new general manager at the helm. Val Austin, previously appointed as the interim general manager, has accepted the permanent position to take the charity forward in order to develop services for beneficiaries in line with the electrical industry and Council expectations.

Helping the Industry's charity (21 September 2009)

PowerBall Raises Funds, and the Roof! (27 November 2008)
Premier tribute band The Upbeat Beatles, one of Europe’s best and most entertaining party bands, The Bogus Brothers, a spectacular cabaret by artistes from the hit stage show Dancing In The Streets and the fantastic and ever popular Apache Disco, were just some of the ingredients of EEIBA powerBall held in The Great Room, in London’s Grosvenor House on 14 November.
