Cablofil’s 1,000th trainee has use of the system “down to a tee”!

Author : J GALE

Cablofil is helping to ensure that steel wire containment installations are faster and easier across the UK and has now trained one thousand of its customers’ installers

Jaryck - down to a tee!

The 1,000th installer to receive Cablofil’s expert guidance in how to use the company’s market leading steel wire tray system was Jareoslaw Slomczewski, a trainee installer with SES PRISM - the offsite prefabrication division of building services firm SES. He had been with SES PRISM for just two months when he received the training – his first introduction to steel wire tray containment – and within two hours he was confidently able to cut and shape the system, creating bends, tees and using bracketry.

Explains Project Engineer at SES PRISM, Alan Thackeray: "We have been using the Cablofil system for around two years and have always been impressed by its quality, speed of installation and ease of use. They have been providing our staff with training sessions for around the past year and now all our trainees, site teams and supervisors undergo the training as a matter of course. For those who have never used the system before it’s a great introduction and even those who are very familiar with steel wire tray find it extremely useful as the trainer gives them tips for making installation even quicker and easier. It’s a fantastic benefit to the company as the trainer comes here to site so we can just fit it in to the team’s schedule."

Jareoslaw was one of a group of trainees to receive the training at the SES PRISM factory in York, and the company is amongst a number of Cablofil customers to receive regular training sessions. He comments: "I found the system very easy to use and straight away could see how simple it would be to install. The training session was really enjoyable and very hands on so by the end of it I felt that I was very familiar with the system and had a few tricks up my sleeve that will come in handy."

The customer training is part of Cablofil’s commitment to highlighting the advantages of using a steel wire tray containment system and the company regularly provides training to site teams as well as at customers’ premises and at Cablofil’s dedicated training suite within the company’s headquarters in Cheshire.

Comments Cablofil’s Claire Thompson who delivered the training at SES PRISM: "The system genuinely is very easy to use and even unskilled trainees find it very intuitive. However, we want to ensure that our customers make the most of its ease of use and speed of installation and that’s why we take time out to deliver the training."
