Swift Solution for Hospital (01 September 2009)
Cablofil's steel wire tray has been installed in Watford General Hospital's new AAU (Accute Admissions Unit), recently completed as part of the hospital's ambitious rebuild programme. Designed by Murphy Philipps Architects, the three-storey building provides 120 beds for emergency admissions, two cardiac catheterisation laboratories, diagnostics including x-ray, ultrasound and CT scanner, pharmacy manufacture and robotics, library and a roof-top plant room.

Manchester goes Alpine! (25 March 2009)
Combining a 180m long ski slope with all the après ski bars, restaurants and retail outlets you would expect to find in a genuine Alpine village, Manchester’s Chill Factore has been a challenging construction project. The £31 million Chill Factore opened in November 2007 and is the first indoor ski slope in the north west of England. It covers an area of 250,000 square feet and features two areas: Ski Slope and Mountain Village.
