Connector with a twist
Ideal Industries has announced the launch of a new twist-on wire connector to compliment its existing range of electrical wiring connectors.
The connector features an advanced spring mechanism, promising a fast, secure and easy connection that will not relax over time. It can be used on multiple wire combinations and reportedly works well with both stranded and solid wire. The connector is also reusable, promising maximum cost-efficiency.
Designed for comfort and safety, the wire connector is said to be easy-to-use, integrating SureGrip technology with a swept-wing design, for improved leverage and more torque. This reportedly means it takes less time and effort to do even the most complex of electrical wiring jobs, saving the installer time and money.
Compact and lightweight, it also offers space saving benefits and is suitable for conductors between 0.52 to 8.0mm2. Like all of the company’s products, the connector is manufactured to International safety standards and is CE certified to 600V/32A.
