Cable entry

This new 2 component cable entry allows fast assembly without any tools into all enclosures with wall thicknesses from 0.8 to 3.5 mm. It offers IP 66 / 67 and a strain relief which, tested on cables, complies with the European standard EN50262.

Clixx M20 can be mounted into the common M20 hole and suits all cable diameters from 6 to 13 mm.

It is ideally suited for all non-recurring applications which do not need the flexibility and IP 68 of the Sprint cable glands but a fast, easy and secure assembly. Clixx is clipped into the hole without any locknut. By this way, even where space is limited, several cables can be installed fast and easily.

Compared to a cable gland, Clixx offers an easy and fast assembly without any locknut or tool. This reduces installation time by up to 80 % and thus, also installation costs. Also compared to the standard cable glands which up to now have been used in the area of easiest installations, Clixx offers a significant cost benefit.

Furthermore, due to its flat construction form, Clixx is inconspicuous. The visual design of a junction box remains unaffected – Clixx is significantly less conspicuous than a cable gland. However, Clixx applications are limited to simple and non-recurring standard installations. Clixx does not comply with the flexibility of a Wiska Sprint cable gland. Clixx can be used in electrical installations, switching gear construction and lighting and building services engineering, for example. It is available in M20 - further sizes in preparation.
