TradeSkills4U secures funding for electrical training

The latest economic downturn presents new challenges in the world of employment as electrical training company TradeSkills4U secures funding in a bid to help get the nation back to work.

Funding has been accessed in partnership with Chichester College via the European Social Fund and the Skills Funding Agency. It is specifically for those who need it most; the unemployed or those in employment with no qualifications.

To obtain funding, Trade Skills 4U course candidates must live or work in the South East Region of England and fit into one of two of the following classifications; candidates who have recently been made redundant or those who hold no previous level 2 qualifications.

“We recognise things are hard out there right now and we are one of the few private electrical training providers to seek funding for our courses. It is essential for us to raise awareness within this sector and be able to get this information to those struggling to finance their training costs,” said Carl Bennett, Managing Director of Trade Skills 4U.

“Our aim is to make our courses as accessible as possible for those that need it most including people that have been redundant or don’t have any previous qualifications. The process of going back to ‘the classroom’ can be daunting for those who have little or no qualifications so easing the route by funding some course costs may make the transition a little easier for them to go ahead and retrain. Similarly those who are going through the process of redundancy may benefit from this support,” adds Bennett.
