Training empowerment with NAPIT
NAPIT, the Government-approved register holder for more than 8,500 registered installers is working with the East Cheshire Training and Assessment Centre (ECTA) as its partner training provider to offer discounted membership to successful, accredited candidates.
The ECTA provides professional training for the electric industry and has a dedicated renewable energy training facility for the green energy market.
NAPIT’s membership scheme offers a range of benefits that cover all disciplines and gives quality trades people access to cost-saving advantages, first class training and advice and, most importantly, enables them to assure their customers of a quality service.
NAPITs Sales and Marketing Director Andy Sharp says his organisation continues to work hard to provide the best service to installers and engineers working within the industry. “NAPIT are committed to working with partners like ECTA to ensure pro-active and strong working relationships that reflect well on our trade and, most importantly, benefit all of our customers. Solar panel manufacturer Ubbink has also joined forces with ECTA and NAPIT to offer a complete route to MCS accreditation, giving the installer one point of contact and a step by step process to achieve this for Solar Photovoltaic Systems.
Furthermore, NAPIT has announced more courses on offer. The courses listed below will be held at NAPITs training facility in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
• 30th September- 17th Edition wiring regulations Amendment Awareness
• 3rd-5th October – 17th Edition 3 day wiring regulations (C&G 2382-10)
• 21st October – 17th Edition wiring regulations Amendment Awareness
• 22nd October – Building Regulations (C&G2393)
• 27th-28th October – 3 Phase Distribution & Control (NA-3PH-2)
• 30th October – Completion of Certificates and Reports (NA-CR-1)
• 6th November – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Update (C&G 2382-20)
• 7th-10th November – Inspection, Testing & Certification (NA-2391)
• 14th-18th November – Electricians Certificate of Competence (NA-FS1)
• 17th November – Completion of Certificates and Reports (NA-CR-1)
• 20th November – Using Test Instruments (NA-UTI-1)
• 5th-8th December – PIR Awareness (NA-PIR 2.2)
• 12th-18th December – Electricians Certificate of Competence (NA-FS1)
